I collect anything transformers. I got masterpieces, Generations, classics, reissues I even got the new Prime line. I can't wait for Masterpiece Optimus and Soundwave


As for the movie, it's not a reboot. It's more like Prometheus as in, it's in the same universe, and the past movies count but a new story with new characters. Probably Hot Rod and Galvatron as the main guys.

Transformers lately has been so hit or miss that I dont even care anymore. The 1st movie was ok hated the 2nd, I actually like the 3rd but I feel they tried to focus on humans too much. Call me crazy but I never liked beast wars or any of the cg cartoons, just the original drawn cartoons.

Has anyone ever bought any of those new transformers? Let me tell you first hand, it is a pain getting it to transform. Took me at least 20 minutes to transform from a Camaro to Bumblebee. Then I had him sitting up nicely in my room, and my little cousin comes through and tried to make him back into a Camaro. Dudes had the front end of a camaro and the body of bumblebee. I immediately threw it in the trash because the way he had it configured would be like solving a rubix cube.

That looks way more complicated than the bumblebee. I want no parts of that. I just can't see some kid getting enjoyment out of these toys. The current lineup of bots for the movies isn't the problem with the toy line.

That's because this particular toy isn't designed for kids. This is from a rising 3rd party market which caters solely to collectors. This guy is a 3rd party take on the original constructicons. It's not licensed or made by Hasbro. That cost $400 bucks to buy all the robots. I got a few 3rd party stuff. Mostly the crap hasbro won't make like a new Rodimus or a new combiners such as the one in that pic
