After Earth was definitely a flop, not sure how some are saying it wasnt.
Because they're going off the international box office without taking into account that the film budget posted doesn't include marketing. That's when films become true busts, when they don't recoup what the studio determined it would once the theaters get their cut and once the marketing is covered. If your production budget is 100 or 200, that should be multiplied by 2 to get the full true cost of a movie. So After Earth was at least $260 million and only made 243, which isn't including how much of a cut the theaters get. so yeah, that's a flop
