Nobody needs to argue he was better in 09. He was. Before that, all Kobe haters said he needs to stop being selfish and use his teammates more. So when he does, hes suddenly not the best player anymore? Nothing Kobe did or could have done would be good enough. Your stances shift based on what he did from game to game. Perfect example, series against the Suns. Goes for 50 against the Suns in game 6. You all say he needs to pass more and use his teammats. Game 7, he passes and utilizes his teammates and you say he quit.Never even heard of a Kobe Stan actually argued that Kobe was better in 09. You're out here using the first 2months of the season as an argument

2012 Kobe had his worst efficiency since his rookie season (FG%, 3P%, eFG%, TS%) and it was apparent throughout the season (22 games <= 40% FG). Kobe was a negative defensive player by 2011. Wade still an elite defender in 2011 and 2012 and what he gives up in PPG, he makes up in efficiency.
'09 Wade had himself a hell of a season but Kobe has his best chip run ever in '09 which kind of combats it while Wade's '09 playoff run was underwhelming compared to his season.
