Has anyone tried using a Mass Gainer before

I seen this on Amazon. 1000+ calories and 50g of protein per scoop :leon:

Do these work? How much weight could I put on in a month by using this as well as lifting 4-5 times a week?

It works, but is not really economical. Drinking your food for half the time gets old.

I'd recommend some ground turkey or some chicken legs for some cheap protein. You realize how much lean meat you could get instead of a $60 tub of mass gainer? Throw in a big bag of beans and oatmeal and you're set. Plus you'd get to practice on your cooking skills. :ohhh:

But yeah if you ballin like that go ahead. Powder protein leaves me hungry after an hour though. :noah:

you'd be better off doing this or just buying regular whey and making your own/better 1000 calories shake

OP is gonna have to be eating some big ass portions of ground turkey and beans if he wants anything near 1,000 calories.

Mass gainers are really convenient for when you don't feel like prepping shyt, or spending 30 minutes eating food.

You can easily make your own though instead of buying tubs of mass gainers. I throw in 1-2 scoops of whey, 1 cup of greek yogurt, some flax seed, oats, and 3 cups of whole milk into my blender and get 1k cals easy.

they work, and i dont fukks with any of them jawns that cost more than 40. but i dont use them as meal replacements, i drink that shyt on top of eating a bunch of food.

i fukks wit them mainly cuz 8/16 oz milk + the gainer is less drinking than 3 cups of milk and all kinds of other shyt.

Even as a fat little kid I never understood the point of buying mass gainer because my skinny ass brother who was like 6 ft and like 165 took that shyt and never got no bigger and he ate like a damn linebacker in the nfl, nikka just eat more food than you usually do if you want more size, shyt is simple in my opinion.

Too expensive for the amount of servings...especially if dude's got a really fast metabolism. The scoop in that thing is laundry-size.

Get yourself a tub of Muscle Juice. You get a 10lb tub for about 50 or 60 bucks with a regular-sized scoop. Bang for your buck.

Whenever I used a gainer, I'd just do a 2-scoop shake in the AM with breakfast and a 2-scoop shake with dinner after lifting. I think the servings are 4 scoops so I just split them up throughout the day to add calories to my major meals.

You're right but I never use two whole scoops, I might use 4/5ths of one for an entire blender and be good off that. That's just me tho, and my metabolism is really fast but you're right you don't get too many servings out of it if you use two whole scoops.

I fukk with the serious mass, i drink it twice a day 1 scoop each time.
What kind of progress have you guys seen from when you started till now?
