There's actors who've turned careers around like Robert Downey Jr. but there's no one who's really made a switch from actor to director like he has. I mean this dude's movie history is straight up trash...90% of his movies are like 3-4/10 status. Then he goes out and puts out nothing but heat as a director so far . At least he was smart enough to realize he belongs more behind the camera than in front of it.

I caught 'Gigli' on FX when they were playing it all the time in 2006, it's a bad movie, but no worse then A LOT of shyt that gets released today, it was a bad idea, bad script, bad execution, but it's just a dumb romantic comedy, I've seen worse.

The media was covering Ben and Jennifer 24/7 and everyone got sick of them. So the media turned on them and shytted on the movie to a hyperbolic extent.

Damon will be fine. He's an excellent actor. He's just taking some head scratching roles.

As for the thread, Downey Jr is definitely the answer. If Lohan doesn't die in the next couple years I could see her having a comeback like this. Hollywood loves people who fukked up their lives through their own doing.

Donnie been grafting since the early 80's..he was always in somebody's shadow be it jackie chan and then Jet li, but get this though, he was speaking english since he was a kid due to living in the states (kinda like how bruce lee was back and forth).
