Yeah, close calls, but not all the way...most recent one had a woman in cardiac arrest in my building. Her luck had med students in the area along with an AED...:stop:

Man, this is in Birmingham? What dam is that you work at if you don't mind me asking? That sounds like something you would here about on the news. I know a couple of years ago, a guy died in my building on the toilet like Elvis Priestly. Another guy died in another one of our buildings a couple of weeks ago too.

It was at Lake logan martin dam, I cycle between 4 of them though. It might be on the news, I dont know bc no reporters were there while I was.

Man, it was a heart attack from what I heard.

Ok, I didn't even know Lake Logan Martin had a dam. Either way, that's a shame that he died.

I also had a co-worker that killed himself. They found him in his car parked under one of the viaducts about 2 blocks away from the building. I mean, he was 2 blocks away from work. :yeshrug:

Yeah there's one on the lake, you can't see it from the road bc u know the highway goes over it. That's the deepest part too, today it was about 90 feet deep and he got trapped at about 70 ft underwater.

Multiple times...

At Native American casino that I use to work at, a woman died on the bingo hall floor and one time, one of the casino housekeepers found a dead woman.... sitting on the toilet... lol.... It's actually almost common for someone to die in a casino, especially when they spend a large majority of their lives in it.

At food processing factory, one of the maintenance men fell into the meat grinder.

At a tire plant, somebody got caught up into a machine that straightens out rubber.

:rudy: My wife would have stories for days since she works at a hospital. I remember one time I brought her some lunch and they heard a noise and they all got spooked. I was like, "What's wrong with y'all". They was like "Mr. Kelsey in 576 died and the noise sounded like it came from his room". I was like, :pachaha: Y'all tripping. They was like, "He's still in there. We're waiting on the funeral home to come pick him up". I was :dwillhuh: He still in there???? "I went down there and saw an old white dude in there. He didn't have any tubes going into him and all the machines around him was either off or on 0. I was like :whoo: and right when I came back to the nurse's desk was when the funeral home came around the corner and picked him up.
