Soto never asked out, but it was clear Soto was gonna get dealt once he turned down $350 mil from the Nats.


The Padres dealt him because they lost a lot of their funding and weren't gonna be able to afford him.

Y'all throw the word superstar around too loosely. Having monster stats and being all star doesn't automatically qualify a player as a superstar

It was a long time ago, but looking at Vince's stats it was probably a bit of both. Definitely was being an a$$hole. He was averaging 15 when he got traded, and then averaged 27 the rest of the season for the Nets. Looks like he quit on TOR
