OH shyt DONT FORGET KWAMI BROWN AND SMUSH PARKER
In 2004 Kobe went to the finals in Shaq's last year though. In 05 he was out the off and 06 and 07 he was first round exit status (that's on him for not realizing what he had with Shaq there). By 08 Kobe was back in the finals. So i ain't trying to hear that wasted his prime. I honestly don't think Kobe would take back those 06 and 07 years for a ring. Those two years are where he went from great to legendary.
Larry Bird
This dude has played with 9 different all stars in his career. While Jordan only had one. And nikkas try and talk about Lebron How can he even be mentioned with Legends like MJ, Magic, Bird, Barkley, Malone who actually carried their teams.
Van Exel
Eddie Jones
Shaq
Rice
Payton
Malone
Gasol
Howard
Nash
I see what you're saying, but the argument is invalid considering some of the players you're naming are players who were way past their prime by the time they got to LA or were traded shortly after Kobe entered the League
Pretty sure Van Exel and Jones were only all stars on the same team as Kobe one or two years, Payton, Malone and Rice were not All-Stars by the time they got to LA
Barkley played with Juluis Erving, Moses Malone, KJ, Dan Marjele, The Dream & Clyde Drexler
Bird played with a lot of hall of famers/all stars
LeBron - Shaq, Wade, Bosh, Allen
Magic - Lots of hall of famers/all stars
Malone - Stockton, Shaq, Kobe, Payton
Mike - 5 hall of famers during career
You can name numerous great players who have played with former all stars, washed up future hall of famers, players who were at the end of their career, or players who became all stars after they left that team
Point is, title of the thread should have been "Kobe cant win without a great big man" for Kobe, everybody else he's played with has been pretty much irrelevant other than Robert Horry, who was huge during the first title run, and should be in the hall based on number of rings and clutchness alone
You forgot Mitch Richmond, Bynum, Artest, Caron Butler, Theo Ratliff and Vlade Divac
