Yes, HIGH doses. I'll make this simple: Taking one aspirin a day is beneficial to health while taking a whole bottle a day is poisonous.

would you take an aspirin every day of your life starting when you're born? i hope not.

you're right about things being beneficial when in balance, but how is water fluoridation balanced? how much sodium fluoride do you think our body has had to absorb considering we've been exposed to it, both internally and externally, every single day of our lives, multiple times a day. thats a huge amount of exposure to something whose long-term effects we are unsure of.

youre leaving your health vulnerable when its unnecessary. the EPA said a couple years ago i think that the water fluoridation levels were too high but they need to just take it out of the water altogether, the benefits aren't that great anyway. in fact the one thing water fluoridation is supposed to help with, caring for teeth, can actually cause fluorosis.

drinking ounces of sodium fluoride to help your teeth is non-efficient at best, and idiotic (and perhaps potentially fatal) at worst.

with weak pros and so many potentially harmful cons to water fluoridation its better to be safe than sorry, i just dont understand the recklessness. humans are experiencing the worst health conditions in history because of the build up of toxins in our bodies and youre telling me ingesting small amounts of poison from the water supply every day of our lives is not contributing?

I take one aspirin every day. If you'd bother to look further than conspiracy sites and understand the toxicity levels of various natural compounds, fluoride would be the least of your worries.

Water fluoridation IS balanced, though. That's what the studies over the last 70 years have figured out. If it is unbalanced due to extremely high dosages like what was found in China and India, you'll have issues.

The fluoridated water levels aren't 'too high'. We just have more access to other forms of fluoride than 70 years ago which increases the dosage and THAT can cause fluorosis, not fluoridated water itself.

Wrong. Drinking properly fluoridated water has been scientifically proven through hundreds of studies as the MOST efficient means to prevent dental caries and there have been NO deaths attributable to it in 70 years while the adverse effects are negligible to non-existent.

You also don't understand dosage levels. There is nothing 'reckless' about water fluoridation. The 'many potentially harmful cons' have been 'potential' for 70 years, not 'actual'. Were the case otherwise, we'd have been bombarded with countless detrimental cases.

Water itself is poisonous if excessively consumed even though we need it to live.......

Water intoxication - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Water, just like any other substance, can be considered a poison when over-consumed in a specific period of time. Water intoxication mostly occurs when water is being consumed at a high quantity without giving the body its proper nutrients it needs to be healthy.

Also, if humans are experiencing the 'worst health conditions in history', why do we live approximately 5-10 years longer than our predecessors in 1960......:skip:

life expectancy by itself is not a solid indicator of health. health is about quality of life not simply quantity.

and you should re-think taking an advil everyday. whats the plan take an aspirin every day for the rest of your life until you die?

would you give an aspirin a day to your one year old baby?

Never said it was, but it would seem since we're ingesting a poison on a continuous basis for 70 years, it would negatively impact our health. Water fluoridation at proper dosages improves the quality of life.

Yes, to prevent another heart attack.......

No, I'd use dye-free Ibuprofen and only if the baby needed it. You don't give acetaminophen to children below 19 years or they may develop Reye's Syndrome.
