Jewish is a term describing someone's religion not race/ethnicity. Hebrews whole set-up is different. There traditions and background culture set-aside from what is seen today in Mainstream religion. Hebrews believed in tribes....Jews do not. The Tribes of East African groups prove those traditions and culture.

We can agree that Harry Potter set-up Christian folk with Pagan/Witchcraft so the religion wouldn't look at it as bad but good.

It's both. I believe converts are good for the growth of the religion but shouldn't act high and mighty in spear-heading it. Ashkenazi became the biggest converts of Judaism in Europe in the 7th Century and have become a force of arrogance and hate toward other converts and true blood-lines.
