Given my age, and that era, it's a fun listen. I remember all that from being a kid. Take Me There, My Mind Right Remix, Ride Or Die, the back and forth between Jay and Mase

had that Love Me CD single in 7th grade I loved that track, to think of Jay and Mase trading shots and being close in popularity is surreal but I was there

some of these guys are such grandstanders, reminds me of my boys lol

This is actually a good interview. I always said the story of Harlem rappers getting in the industry is wild. All of the crazy connections and coincidences will have you lilke :mindblown:

also :dead: at NORE
nore: "The 1st time i heard about mase was when BIG said "We just Mase em replacing em them" :ohhh:

Harlem World: "nikka you was on a CLue freestyle with him" :what:

Is that song available, the Cardan and Mase where Mase had the lines about record sales? From Cardan's album.

That never came out right?

It was dope to hear the inside info of the Jay vs Mase/Harlem World battles. I didn’t know that shyt stemmed from Big L bringing Jay up to Stretch and Bobbito and the whole uptown got mad over that
