stop it. you just making yourself look stupid now. martin had a 6 season stretch averaging 22 PPG and had highs of 23 ppg twice and 24 ppg once. all this revisionist history is all sidetalk and wasn't what i was aruging. stop the bullshyt.

On three god-awful teams. He is a poor man's Allan Houston.

kevin martin has never been a factor in any game. he drops the most meaningless 30pt games i ever seen. he can avg 28ppg and not mean shyt to anyone. dude is out there just shooting shots. no effect on a game whatsoever

that shyt doesn't make any sense whatsoever.

he avg 23.5 points on a houston team which had a similar record to this season's team. i dont know why you're trying to spin this shyt into a win situation for you, when i never once said harden wasn't the better player.

That team had more talent too. :mjpls:

Scola, Lowry, Brooks/Dragic, Battier (though he did get dealt), Lee, Buddinger, Hayes is a pretty solid core.

This team has Lin, Parsons, Asik, Patterson (now Robinson) and Delfino. This team basically relies on Harden to create most of their offense.

no im showing up now because this is the first time i seen anyone mention kevin martin. no i dont give a shyt about his games in okc this year because i dont even notice him on the court when he's in the game. im being dead serious. i used to live in sacramento and watch a ton of his games. i thought to myself this nikka is aite but i want to trade him for some other nikka

They did, but mchale has basically got this team overachieving to the max. they play faster than every team and their high usage rate is built on the purpose of outrunning teams with their youth. a lot of there flaws have been covered up with their pace. harden's too.

that post wasn't really directed to you. you don't notice him cause he plays a limited role for the thunder. a role that isn't indicative of his talent.

Oh, I agree. McHale and Sampson have done a great job with this team. Harden's at the center of it though. If you replaced him with an average SG (like Martin), that's a 25-30 win team, max.

Martin isn't dogshyt and 6th man is his proper role. But I think there's a huge drop-off from Harden to him.

the style of this team wouldn't suit martin for a start. just like a ball-dominant pg who plays at a slower pace and with more halfcourt sets wouldn't suit harden (and would suit martin better). even though harden is the better player, it's all dependent on the situation. i still don't know why you upped my quote when the argument was centered around you saying okc harden fukked up by trading harden (when it was basically their only option) and that you called martin an 'extremely limited player'.

Again what does he do other then score. He's not a playmaker and he's horrible on defense.
