:stopitslime:

It said the "Rockets roster is "

Can't copy and paste smilies. Give it up breh, if you have no evidence you need to stop. A lot people were in that thread. Tremonthustler even quoted me in that same thread. Anybody that goes to my previous post can see what I posted. :comeon:

short term, the big winner is Denver. Downgrading from Harden to Martin and having to rely on 2 rookies that while talented, their hallmark is frustrating inconsistency will push the Nuggets closer to them in the standings. Long term, OKC made out well because if Perruh and Lamb pan out, it's NBA Moneyball.

Morey... :laff: Morey is proof that from a $$$ standpoint, Harden did the right thing.

McHale's probably happier he got Cole Aldrich in the trade.

i rather make a little less money and win championships
rockets wont even make the playoffss for the next 5 yrs smh

weather yall like his game or not: harden is a rising star in this league... he can be well marketed on just about any franchise eps. in a league dat star driven if OKC would have waited its no telling what offers would have came up

remember da bobcats were offering their overall #2 pick, a player or 2 & a future #1 for harden pre draft >>> then this trade

Harden having a beard doesn't automatically give him big time star power.

Don't think that by keeping him til the deadline that the offers would increase. By the deadline, teams that suck won't be dealing unprotected firsts for him. Harden's agent could begin to discourage teams from acquiring him.

Charlotte would have never offered anything like that around the deadline. Now it made sense to turn down a deal like what was rumored around draft time because keeping Harden >>>> that proposal, but Harden wanted the money more than the slight decrease in cash to stay there.

OKC fans trying to defend this move.. :heh:

Your cheap ass owner just cost y'all a shot at a dynasty. Harden IS overrated, but he's still very good and fit perfectly on that squad.

lol @ people making snap judgements on rookies who haven't played a game yet

lol @ people still thinking Kevin Martin is even an average player...he's terrible...I'm not lying...I've watched this guy be awful for three years...I have the NBA League Pass specifically to watch the Rockets and at least 5-10 times a game I go :mindblown::rudy::comeon::huhldup::beli::snoop::dwillhuh::childplease::scusthov::stopitslime: after a KMart play

this trade really comes down to this...do you believe Harden is going to blossom as the focal point of a team...how do you feel about Lamb...and how is Presti going to use those picks

I don't see how this makes the Thunder better this year though...no one can argue that Kevin Martin and Lamb are better than Harden this year...that's a silly statement
So below average players average nearly 20 ppg in their career in the NBA? :rudy:

some nigguh said maynor and kmart was enough and i said they cant even beginning to mimic the production that Harden gave them off the bench.

You must be a product of Baltimore public school system with yourreading comprehension

how can't they even begin to mimic the production of harden? kmart can't score the same amount that harden did? maynor can't provide the playmaking/assists (minus when sabo on floor) that harden does? you sounding real stupid again.

this is what you said

"we dont even know hardens and lin real true potetnial in a full season at an elevated role but we do know KMarts."

did you not just say we already know kmarts potential playing with players like durant and westbrook?

:stopitslime:

"I dont know how his production improves with Kmart/Durant where he will play the same role in their offense as our"

is that not saying he gonna play the same role on okc as he did on the rockets?

having belief in martin being a #3 option on a team>>>>>>> having belief in harden being the #1 option on a team.

the disparities between their talent/skillset aint that far apart for it to be the other way around. doesn't really matter tho, because lamb will be worked into the bench eventually when martin's gone.

So below average players average nearly 20 ppg in their career in the NBA? :rudy:

yeah because I was talking about his whole career and not the past few years

and yeah points per game is the only way to judge a player now

and yeah I haven't explained in like a ton of posts how his game has deteriorated due to the fact he clashes with the head coach...is an ill-advised chucker...and his injuries have sapped a ton of his ability to create his own shot

add that to the fact he doesn't play a lick of defense and he can't create for other people and yes he's below average

but you know...keep judging players based on their career averages...I'm sure that's much more accurate than watching them play 80 times a year...way more accurate

Translation: When I say this, I'm saying they haven't met their full potential which mean, we haven't even seem them in their prime, whereas in martin we've seen his prime and we know he's onthe downside of his career.

why the hell do you keep making this point to me?...we've argued this shiit ad naseum...I feel like you're trolling me now

I already told you I don't think Martin will even be a number three

I've also said I don't think this is a great trade for Houston because I think Harden is a bit overrated...and I think the swing point of this trade will be what Presti does with those picks and if Lamb develops

it was my first post in this thread...I don't think it's great trade for either team
