am I lying? Anyone that praises or shows respect to Beyonce rather that be her peers, legends that came before her, the industry or media always make it about her performing talents on stage, her work ethic (and dedication to her craft) along with her albums (visuals, attention to detail) and marketing strategies (i.e- the surprise drop in 2013). The focus was never solely based on her music ‘hits’ or sales.
These are observations.. da fukk some beyhive gotta do with this.
same with the phenomenon behind whitney being her voice or Mike being better than everyone else at virtually anything or Rihanna/Mariah and their countless hits.. Stevie and his artistry/musicianship etc etc

Well, you can’t be The Queen of the industry and the so called artist of this generation if you don’t have the sales to back it up. nikkas steady acting like Beyoncé runs the game but the numbers say otherwise. She’s a good performer and puts in work. But she is hardly running anything. If anybody is The Queen of this era, it’s Rihanna. That’s who nikkas should be worried about it. Not somebody that just does well on tours but flops everywhere else.

You missed the point, again..I’m looking from a higher vantage point. The superlative titles like “Queen Bey” and “Artist of the Generation” that she receives from her peers (other artists) and the music industry w/90% of the media is not dependent on her having astronomical numbers like Adele or Taylor. Think about every artist past or present that has spoken about Beyonce. It’s almost as if she’s reverenced..Rihanna can sell 2x or 3x as Beyonce, but she’ll never be perceived like Beyonce whose appeal has never came from her commercial success (record sales). It was never about the numbers. Even celebs that rarely like any entertainer love Beyonce. She’s a celebrity, celebrity.. Numbers don’t give you the type of pull or respect that Beyonce receives from everyone, even her competition. The biggest album seller of her generation, Adele, broke a grammy in half because the ‘artist of her life is Beyonce’.. Rihanna - “My biggest idol is Beyonce”
Everyone calls her a living legend and I’m not even talking about stans or media hyperbole. These are established artists, actors, politicians etc.. There’s a skyscraper being made right now out of her curves in Melbourne austrailia https://www.architectmagazine.com/design/a-beyonce-inspired-tower-for-melbourne-australia_o

You don’t have to be a stan or even a fan to observe that she’s looked as a goddess. all the while ppl like Eminem who debut around the same time has consistently outsold her. After I saw Coachella and the reaction after it things finally made sense why Beyonce was looked at differently than ppl that have stronger commercial power. It’s the shyt she does on stage.. nobody doing it like that these days. So many other talented artists and singers that are celebs too, turn into fangirls when Beyonce starts performing. Every single one. She beyond that number shyt at this point

Maybe not for you but It definitely IS about the numbers to her so called stans because the first thing the Beyhive will cling to is that she can sell out an arena. It’s just that when it comes to Beyoncé, all they have is the fact that her tours do well and that’s it. Further complemented by the fact she is all hype and nothing else.

I’m not talking about me or her stans specifically (who exaggerate everything)i don’t participate in stan culture, but I know what I see with my eyes and its a fact that despite the numbers, everyone (peers, stans, media etc) place Beyonce on a higher pedestal, despite not having the best record sales. Question.. why does most respected artists also show great respect and admiration for Beyonce. Why do they reverence her like they are stans themselves? Beyonce has grown ass artist with fans of their own turning into groupies whenever she’s brought up.She’s the only artist to consistently get compared to the greats like MJ. Eminem sells more, Rihanna as well as Drake, Justin Timberlake yet Beyonce is praised by them and others even if she doesn’t have the numbers. Just last week, she went home empty handed at the Golden Globes, yet she dominated industry conversation just for being there.. Hype like that just doesn’t come from out of thin air so, then we have to question: Why is she considered a living legend yet everyone seems to outsell her? I see ppl literally complain why their faves don’t get the same praise that she does or why does everyone seem to fawn over her.. mfs are literally baffled by the type of attention and positive affirmation she receives..I just showed you a damn skyscraper being built across the world celebrating her body from a music video. Numbers can’t give you that type of cultural influence.. Her tours look like award shows by the amount of artists that come to watch her perform at one time. Like I said Adele, Taylor and Rihanna can sell 4x more than Beyonce and they’ll never be worshipped quite like she is and just like you, it took me awhile to pinpoint exactly where it came from. It’s almost uncomfortable how literally every celebrity holds the same type of sentiment about her compared to everyone else
