I went to 320 to. But no one around the way gives a damn about Jackie...nor does the school.

Although its Jackie's Day and he is deserving of his respect men such as Larry Doby dont get the accolades they deserve.

Jackie leaned heavily on Larry as they both broke the color barrier that same year (Jackie was first to do it being called up first) as they both talked over the phone after games. I can't even begin to imagine the racial humiliation they had to endure.

I'm happy Jackie gets the recognition rightfully due but I wish it was more Jackie and Larry instead of just Jackie, even though they were on different teams they were teammates in a sense.
