I heard it first in college, then that history channel shyt. But it seems we don't know. You will need something 100% to say he was black, because by default with his story being interesting and important - he can't be black.

Carthage was in Tunisia. The people who lived there were Berbers/ Numidians. So.. were the ancient Berbers, Black or Arab? Pretty sure they were Blacks who now appear Arab due to race mixing after being conquered, hundreds of years after Hannibal.
