i never liked him, i also remember not watching Omega/Hangman, or the Bryan/Hangman matches cause i really just dont give a shyt about him,
my lasting thought of him was him being outside The Elite dressing room looking depressed, then teaming up with Dark Order and that was death.. show me a good Hangman Promo, this guy should not be world champion, has no damn charisma
Omega was goofy but at least he felt more like a champion and i enjoy his matches

Plus he was a shytbird. Every match he was involved in was fukkery tier. Like when he kept hitting OC with like 20 of his belts .

They might as well have Hangman cut "happy to be here" promos like WWE so folks can somehow give a somewhat damn about him

I think Page has done a hell of a job with what he's been given and has absolutely held his part in the ring. That very important in a company like AEW. It's impossible not to think he deserves that belt and should keep it, and that was the challenge he was facing after beating Omega.

But we gotta be honest and realize Tony hasn't given him much in terms of presence and showcase outside the ring, which is weird considering he's their first homegrown champ and is very fukking over as a pure babyface (which is very hard to do in this day and age). He's probably gonna get it in this Cole feud though. We'll see how he handles the Elite melodrama now that Kenny is not in the picture but he's probably gonna start getting a more TV time as a character and that was what it was lacking since he's champ.

ive seen that promo, and its decent but his promos as a champion are garbage, he seems like a chaser rather than a champion
