He should have been their Tommy Dreamer and kept up the title chase. It was clear they had nothing past the title win in terms of story when you book his first opponent as the best wrestler in the company.
Tony Khan books like Shad gonna take all his money back soon
Breh being demoted to TBS having a iron man match with The Big Bang Theory would make anybody go:
Here's the thing with Hangman. When dude started out, it was official. A drunk ass cowboy doing dope moves and showing up to AEW with no fukks to give because hangover. Sadly, he was away from the game because the birth of his child and I admire Tony for not being on some scorn WWE cult shyt about the whole ordeal. Yet, the grim reality is that the streets wanted Hangman to be the champ and the time was right around the time of his child being born.
Then Hangman comes back and we already know where this was going to lead. Then Hangman won the belt and the amount of damns left because it felt forced instead of organic.Like posters including this marsupial said, they really should had let Hangman chase the title for a bit instead of shooting his ass with the rocket.
Then the Bryne feud happens and meh...because it felt like a marketing ploy to get heads to watch TBS and their "free PPV events". The feud did not go anywhere.
Then the random match with Archer which makes no damn sense because "rating system:.
How can I possibly care for a wrestler that seems like he's just there instead of giving us legit Cowboy shyt. There is a reason why Vince be so hell bent on not giving folks the belt off GP.
- The man makes the belt not the other way around
- You got to get the casuals to tune in and not see your champ get chumped by a ex druggie
- Main events need main event caliber wrestlers and so far Page is dropping the ball
Bottom line, dude is not it and they seriously should had just let dude be on his underdog steez, instead of John Marston with a cheat code.
