But yeah, “more of the same” is usually an empty criticism that people only bring up when they are looking to downplay a game.

Why be a hater and try to downplay the comeback? They put a breh in charge and finally got the content to compliment the already excellent gameplay. This is one of the best no-frills multiplayer experiences out right now with a very player friendly battle pass model

Halo is in a decent spot. The "new" maps coming in November will slowly solidify it as a game that started off rocky but is now as good the older titles in the series.
