This fakkit phil said he felt good after watching the PS5 event

“Just being honest, I felt good after seeing their show. I think the hardware advantages that we have built are going to show up as we’re talking more about our games and frame rates and other things,” Spencer said.”

The arrogance showed by this clown makes me happy to see his whole house burn to the ground. For a site of mostly black posters the coli sure seem to love this glaring poser boy of white privilege.
Well he has to sell the system to people who aren’t part of the ecosystem so yeah I understand why he came off as a car salesman :mjlol:

yep still waiting to see it

despite all the fukkery and my disappointment

I’m still low key interested in getting one

but they literally haven’t given me a single reason to cop one

Ill give you six

-the sx has almost double the exclusive next gen announcements compared to ps5

-the ps5 is bc with some ps4 games only, whilst the sx is backwards compatible with all of its games, across multiple generations

-multiplats will run better on sx

-sony doesnt have a subscription service that offers better value than game pass

-ps4 controllers are partially forward compatible, whilst xbox ones controllers are completely forward compatible

-the SX will give a next gen boost to all of its BC titles, across multiple generation, the ps5 wont

only care about the 2 things I didn’t strike out...if they can demonstrate that the XSX can actually do those things I’d still be interested in copping one...in the upcoming months they need to start off by dropping some side by side clips of how current gen games run on the X1X vs the XSX so I can see how much of a difference exists as far as graphics/performance and if it’s actually worth it

they may have “announced” double the exclusives PS5 did but I might’ve personally been interested in 3 at best

I’m keeping all my consoles from this gen so BC isn’t that important to me on the PS5 especially since my PS4 backlog isn’t that heavy even tho it would be convenient...my X1X backlog is sick tho so it’d be cool if the XSX can truly offer an enhanced experience for all those games

I’m letting my gamepass expire in january so that’s not a sell for me and the controller shyt doesn’t faze me either one way or the other

the biggest sell for the XSX for me tho is if it offers a better 3rd party gaming experience than the PS5...and I won’t know that until both consoles are released and ppl start dropping comparison videos

I’ve been running with Xbox since the OG.. always hated PlayStation.. looks like imma have to switch.. they both giving me no exclusives. I can’t play battle royals anymore. Sick of that shyt. Xbox isn’t giving me anything.

Playstation controllers are so trash design wise.

I respect that:ehh:

Im the opposite, HZD2 announcement is the only one that interests me. Asides from that I'm more interested in the direction MS is headed game wise next gen and so far they've announced double the content as well which is a plus.

Far as gamepass and the controllers, if sub services like that aint your thing again I respect that. But as far as objective value its better than psn now, far better, and the controller business will be a big money saver for people that why they chose to go that direction with it.

As for third party experiences, its common knowledge that if you want the best multiplat performance console wise, the SX is the way to go. I dont see the need to compare anything.

Possibility of the game dropping XBox One compatibility all together. Even if true I'm not sure what good that'll do this late in development. If this is even a discussion that is being had at Microsoft that tells me that we're looking at a Holiday 2021 release at the earliest.

I'm having my doubts about this game and I think its going to be very disappointing when it comes out. They had plenty of time to complete this game and basically an unlimited budget backed by Microsoft. So that means the issues with the game are creative, development and management.

Their big selling point feature for the game is that its gonna be open world. That would have been interesting idk maybe 10 years ago but today not so much. And it seems like this aspect of the game its whats giving them the most trouble from a technical standpoint.

We have no idea of what Microsoft's vision is for this game. It's just comes off as another Halo.

At this point people shouldn't be worried about what we do know about the game but instead they should be worried about what we DONT know.

At this point in development we should know A LOT more.

Doubt they’ll drop Xbox One.

That would be a huge blow after it being announced already for the platform.

How they’d even be able to spin that PR wise sounds like a headache.

Defo should have been an XSX exclusive however...Why they didn’t decide this from day one.

Halo historically has been a system seller

Halo Infinite - Inside Infinite – December 2020

Hey everyone, I’m Joseph Staten. If you’ve been a longtime part of the Halo community, you may already know me. If you’re new to the community: Hello! It’s great to meet you.

I was part of the Bungie team who made Halo CE, Halo 2, Halo 3, Halo 3 ODST and Halo Reach. I came up on the design side of these projects, wearing many different hats over the years including writer, cinematic director, creative director—even a voice for the Grunts.

After Reach shipped, I became a Halo fan, cheering-on 343i from the sidelines. But I’ve spent the last four months immersing myself back into the Halo universe, and it’s my honor as creative director to help our team ship Halo Infinite in Fall 2021.

Yep, that’s when the game is coming out. And from now until then, every one of us at 343i and our great partner teams will be building, testing, and polishing an experience we hope all of you love.

I joined 343i right as the team was wrestling with feedback from the July campaign demo. This discussion boiled down to one fundamental truth: we needed more time to do things right. That included pushing hard in the Fall, giving the team time to recharge over the Holidays, and then coming back in January to finish the game at a healthy place" to keep the verbs consistent.

Because Halo Infinite in the Fall of 2021… is just the beginning of the adventure.

I’ll be back at the end of the update for some closing thoughts, but now, Brian, take it away!
