I’m kind of hot, and cold on the Halo series but imo it’s an L for them for wasting time, money, and resources on two versions they inevitably cancelled. It’s a win for us because now current gen owners are getting top priority, and maybe it releases earlier than expected. Hopefully others follow suit (re8, gow etc).

Eventually you gotta drop the old hardware and give people a reason to invest in the new one. Their future as hardware developers are on the line. People will eventually get the money together and have the opportunity to upgrade. The priority should be on new experiences not catering to old tech.

Plus, i can understand sony feeling tied to the ps4 with such a large install base but microsoft shouldn’t feel obligated to the xbox one with only a little over 50 million shipped.

Cyberpunked walked so halo,gow, ff16 etc. could fly?

They honestly need to do the same with horizon also. I can’t wait to hear people complain about ow much uglier it looks on previous gen systems, although it will probably just look like the last game and the current gen version will look similar with 60fps and RTX

Halo 1~4 is still the MP I go to every once in a while that's still fun as it was back on the 360 days. I like Reach and Halo 4(not better than 1,2 and 3 though), don't kill me

shyt I hope they do cancel the last gen versions this cross-gen shyt is not the wave for these huge AAA games. The power discrepancy is too big compared to previous generations and they’re gonna have to make compromises in either the games overall scope or they’ll have to cram a next gen game onto a last-gen disc and pray it doesn’t blow up in your face like cyberpunk

I feel like they can get the multiplayer running on last gen consoles, it will just end up looking like halo 5, potentially worse than halo 5. But they can make it happen. The story mode should be next gen only
