Cool man, thanks for the tips. Although I'm sure one can improve their game I think there is a cap for some people lol just due to basic skills that transfer over in games like focus and nerves.

the matchmaking is pretty good in this game as long as you in a party with equally skilled people or playing solo. you'll get a better chance to get the hang of it and level up your game this way cuz playing with platinum/diamond/onyx ranked players might just discourage a breh

ill be on this joint after xmas. Have the xbox 1 and halo 5 all wrapped up for my kids. How many of ya'll are actually active? i havent played Halo since the first few months of halo 4 dropped and it got boring real quick.

You will continue to get washed if this is your first halo! People have been playing Halo for years. Ive been playing halo online since halo 2.. You think you're bad, but I don't think I'm even good. Id say I'm slightly above average at halo 5... Thats how much skill halo takes!

Don't be discouraged breh. It takes repetition for real. I'm better now than I was when I started with tic tac and spud. Figure out what u are real good at. I'm not as accurate with long range so I run and gun with close range power weapons. Also, you gotta learn the maps so u have a heads up on vantage points and weapon spawns. Keep getting better breh

First time playing war zone in awhile. Had some RP boost cards so I figured I'd give warzone assault a try cuz matches are quicker. 13 min match gave 2600 points with a boost, 8 min match where we steamrolled on offence gave 3000 req points (boost gave 1700). Might mess with it more when no one is on for arena

Over the past few weeks, we’ve been reviewing your feedback on weekend playlists, as well as playlist and modes you’d like to see in the future. We’re currently brainstorming ideas for future weekend and social playlists, and while the weekend playlist poll will return, it will take a few weeks off during the holidays as we rotate in a long-term social playlist and also take time to build new playlists and modes for the future.

This weekend, we’re introducing a new twist on the Breakout game type that we’ve been playtesting and toying around with here at the studio, currently referred to as Arena Breakout. The mode takes Breakout rules, and then merges them with Arena settings on Arena maps, which will feature custom weapon placement for this game type. The result is a fast-paced game of Elimination featuring a Neutral Flag, complete with Breakout player count display and audio, on the maps you’ve come to master since launch.

We’d love to get your feedback on the game type, as well as specific preferred settings, power weapon placement, and favorite maps, so we’re throwing it into matchmaking this weekend, and adding in some increased XP. The playlist will go live this afternoon, and be available through the weekend.

I heard the ranking is jacked up in this. I'm only on gold after a few matches. I played with a friend and it threw us into matches with onyx players and we mopped the floor with them. Even though I enjoy it, I don't consider myself good at all at this game either. It just didn't seem like the ranking was based on skill, more so just the time people had been playing. Am I wrong about this?

I thought it was skill based? idk tho I haven't played in a couple weeks. But I suck and I got gold in Arena, I can hold my own but if I join a friend who is in a higher class game I get mopped by everybody

I think the number on your emblem is your experience and the classes are separate. If you stay bad you can only go up in experience as far as I know
