I feel you. I just dropped $600 on my car for a new ignition system

Man... My car was such a headache I just stopped paying insurance and shyt and let it sit over the summer. I had SO much to fix it was mind boggling.

I paid like $200 for a new windshield because the old one had a big ass crack
I paid like $140 plus like I think $80 to my cousin to install a new radiator because my shyt started overheating.
I then had to pay like $300+ for a new water pump and serpentine belt because my shyt was still overheating.
I also had put in a new thermostat before the water pump.
Then a week later or so, my alternator crapped out and that was like $70 with a free install from my boy. Mind you I still had to get new struts and engine mounts because my shyt was bouncing like spalding basketballs when I hit a pot hole or dip in the road.

A few weeks later I get the car re-registered and the damn shyt overheated again that same day. The shyt was leaking antifreeze and I guess all that bumping and bouncing damaged the radiator.

I then just said fukk it and stopped driving for the summer. I just now got it back up and I had to get a new radiator installed(warranty replaced it) for $200 since it got busted I guess from all that shock from driving.
I then ordered $200 worth of stuff for a new EGR Valve, EGR Selenoid and the front engine mount. I'm about to buy some struts and I guess a tire rod to at least get the car running and then I gotta get reinspected. My sticker been expired past the rejection date so I can't even drive until I get it fixed and reinspected smh.

The car was fine when I copped it. I must've let the shyt escalate into the condition it was in for a while and shyt just got terrible. It was a 2002 Lancer.


I just didn't want to throw it away after all that money spent on it.

Breh no matter what take your car to a reputable mechanic once a year and let them tell you everything that is wrong with it...

My wife is from the middle east so she had no conception of car maintenance when i met her...Breh I kid you not when I say her floor seats were so rusted their were straight up holes in them and I could see the pavement while she drive...

Ended up just helping her pick out a new car after she finally took it to the shop...

Halo 1 got me through college. Halo 2 had me hooked online. Halo 3 barely did anything for me and the mechanics started to change for the worse.

This shyt is as close to Halo 1/2 as it gets.

Breh no matter what take your car to a reputable mechanic once a year and let them tell you everything that is wrong with it...

My wife is from the middle east so she had no conception of car maintenance when i met her...Breh I kid you not when I say her floor seats were so rusted their were straight up holes in them and I could see the pavement while she drive...

Ended up just helping her pick out a new car after she finally took it to the shop...

It's partly my fault though. I was aware of the problems but I procrastinated until shyt hit the fan.
