want to cop but i'm pretty damn sure i'm gonna be AWFUL. when I first bought the xbox, it came with the master chief collection. needless to say, I fell off terribly......like I was getting flat out RAPED. it was just really hard for me to get back into it. prolly end up getting it though. how are the maps on this shyt?.....only maps I ever liked were from halo 2.

OKAY.. I was messing around, and I think the best example of this problem that could show the aiming is this.

Aim directly Upwards - ThumbStick at the 12 Oclock position.

Spin around in circles so your thumbstick is sticking to the edge left or right. - ThumbStick at the 3 or 9 Oclock Position.

While ur thumbstick is on the edge, turn it between the 4 and 5 (or 7 and 8) Oclock Position.(Bottom right/left 45 degrees) - ThumbStick turns to between 4 - 5 Oclock Position.

You get this insane slow turn.

I recorded some clips on H5, MCC CE, H2 H2A for comparison.

I love the game so far, I'm geting better online and the campaign is not as bad as people made it seem. I see some of the issues that @AkaDemiK mentioned, but i still think the online is pretty tight.

I don't suck without it. I like it because at the time, it was the best weapon to see who was really the best when it came to markmanship. If you both have pistols and one kills the other, it hurt worse than if someone killed you with a diff weapon. Nothing like that feeling.

Have you even played halo 3 or 4? That's all its about.


The DMR or BR both show who the better marksmen are. It doesn't even make sense for a pistol to be the best medium and long range weapon in a first person shooter

The first Halo game and still the one with the biggest skill gap in shooting had a pistol. If you talking about realism and all that (in a sci-fi shooter with genetically engineered super soldiers then ionno)..u in the wrong place brutha

343's whole design philosohpy with H5 was to mimic Halo 1's starting weapons with the Ar/Pistol combo. In H5 the pistol is hardest gun to use. The BR is really easy and the DMR is really ease from long range. Both are on maps as pickups if you want to be more effective in mid to long ranges...but as far as starting weapons go it's the pistol because it provides the best skill gap and what they wanted to go to in terms of balance and all that shyt.....I would rather them remove the BR from maps or tweak it because right now it damn near aims itself...too easy

Oh I know breh. I played it and I beasted back in the day. But we've heard this complaint for years. Doesnt make this game bad nor does it hinder you from being a marksmen. Buddy probably cant even get 3 headshots with the BR as easy as it is
