Wrong place for this convo. All those asian countries are crazy about comformity. And they lack the “diveristy-is-good” brainwashing that we’ve recieved in the west since the 60s. Little Dude is very verry very very very deep into enemy territory.
:mjpls: Spending too much time on reddit, I see.

Not for nothing, this part of the reason western culture full of jackasses. We may allow too much individualism too early. Hard to form a cohesive society when everyone is taught my desires matter more than the collective. I think that individualism has its benefits for sure but so does the strict conformity approach of Japanese society.

Having said that, there’s gotta be a medium where something like this can be more acceptable.

This is why intersectionality works well as theory, but in practical application, there are limits.

Governments have to constantly battle between "what's good for the individual" vs. "what's good for the whole of society". And depending on the type of society, one is always going to take precedence.

If it’s against the rules are them out. There are private schools world wide with strict rules. Follow or go home.
