You've never seen Hakeem play
You've never seen nothing but highlights. :mjlol:

Hakeem was NOT a consistent jump shooter outside of 15-16 feet. Not even close. He only occasionally shot out at the 18-20 foot range, and when he did they were low-percentage shots for him. In fact, his mid-range game in general was low-percentage, which is how he could be a dominant scorer inside as a big man and yet only shoot 51% from the field despite not taking threes.

Besides the fact that you clearly didn't watch Hakeem's actual play (especially the first 8 years) if you think he was an elite midrange shooter past 15-16 feet, I'd love for you to explain how he could be a consistent midrange scorer and still shoot only 50% from the field while being dominant inside. :comeon:

It’s crazy how much people regard older players and overrate them. I wonder if in 20-30 years people will be putting Bron and KD above Jordan :wow:

“Anthony Davis was better than Kareem.”

An AD vs Hakeem discussion would hurt alot of nikkas feelings if we're being 100 :sas2:

i don't know what yall arguing, but patrick ewing was a better midrange scorer than hakeem ever was.

and that don't mean nothing :usure:

hakeem is a center. he did center things. he is one of the greatest post player ever :usure:

ain't nobody more crafty and creative than hakeem was down low. he had to because he was undersized and didn't over power nobody :comeon:

Hakeem winning the titles in 94 and 95 was impressive (though it's interesting how he only won when Mike was away or not ready), but we can't ignore the fact that Hakeem lost in the 1st round 4 times in a row (and total of 9 first round exits) from age 25-28, and didn't even make the playoffs the year after. so he wasn't consistent as far as team success go.

And Hakeem wasn't better scorer than Lebron especially in the first years of his career. He was more of a late bloomer.

all in all, I can't put a player who only won the MVP award once in my top 5 of all-time.
