Honestly go to Colombia. You will have a better experience based on what you are looking to do.

Mine was sick, we kept I basic af and went to Punta Cana, The single brehs are nicely off the tourist lol (american, UK, Colombian and Arginine girls)

Make sure you like dembow/bachata if you really wanna have fun.

I actually took some sala and bachata classes early this year. I like to try new things!

colombia just has much better infrastructure than DR. Better resteraunts and probably more to do depending on where you are at. MDE and Cartagena are much bigger cities with a healthy tourist trade. Many of DR places are more all inclusive and many people don't leave the property. Don't get me wrong there are many things to do in DR, I just feel Colombia is much more developed and at a cheap price.

All jokes aside there's a lot to do in DR besides smashing pros.

Excursions, sightseeing etc

Plenty of regular tourists and locals to smash anyway

Then why on earth would you chose DR

Go to San Juan for similar prices

If you want to be outside the states for that same vibe, go to Jamaica or colombia

And if you want something different from typical carribean beach experience, do Costa Rica

- Interact with the women in another country
-Experience/enjoy nightlife of another country
-See anything historic
- Add another place visited to the record books.
- Sporting activity & stuff to enjoy with some good brothers.

I recommend Santo Domingo then . It offers better restaurants and nightlife.
There's also the colonial zone and museums for history , and idk how soon you planning to go
but DR is currently going through their season of baseball.

I’ve been to both in the last year. One was a boys trip and the other was a wedding. Santo Domingo imo is more developed than Cartagena and the local cuisine is better and there’s a good selection of foreign cuisines and upscale high end restaurants and malls. It’s larger and has a new Subway system. Cartagena is cleaner though. Both have Miami looking areas with towers and shyt. The women in DR also look better. They’re both cheap but Colombia is cheaper. Colombia as a whole is massive compared to DR. DR is massive though compared to the other islands and that’s not including Haiti. Prostitution was more visible in Cartagena. Prostys and Coke ain’t my thing though.

Out of my trips Barbados and DR have been my favorites. Sint Maarten was kinda wack and small went to a sorry ass strip club there smh. Mexico was the worst and it’s where I learned resorts aren’t my thing although I did a resort in Jamaica too.
