Gunna's problem in this isn't that he's proclaiming his cousin's innocence, it's how he's pointing the finger and saying the other guy did it. You can proclaim innocence without pointing the finger at somebodh else and effectively "snitching."
And then he goes on CNN? He had no reason to be on a international news station talking like that. Everything isn't meant for cameras. He can't be the one on camera talking about "my cousin didn't do it, this man actually did it." That's what civilians do, not people in that life.
This is a very bad look and the worst part is he volunteered to be on CNN when he didn't have to and anybody else could have went on there. This is why the game is so messed up

Alot of the LA sets that popped up in Southern cities were directly started by people from LA that moved there for various reasons. They're sanctioned and connected.
The problem with NY was they literally just took the name and started claiming Blood and all that without any connection to the actual Bloods. Few of them were started by actual LA sets.
Big difference.

Go watch Bangin In Little Rock or Street Gangs TV to see how it happens. I can't vouch for Gunna's particular validity but I have *ALLEGEDLY* seen people with big homies from the OG set in Cali. You can't automatically say Gunna is fake without some sort of firsthand knowledge of that particular set.
It's a direct reason why certain rappers collaborate with others in different states. Everybody isn't fake the same way everybody isn't certified with the actual set.
