Gucci has never been as big as his stans like to pretend he is.

Even during the height of his popularity, during a time albums still sold, he couldn't even muster going gold.

He was never, ever on young jeezys level.
:stopitslime:Gucci's peak was 09. Albums been stopped selling by then and free still went gold. :camby:

Jeezy's mainstream success was obviously bigger than Gucci but you lying to yourself if you don't admit that his influence on the game was bigger than Jeezy's

Just for conversation sake, show his influence. I'm not denying his influence I'm just curious what his positive influence is.

I mean, Jay z has tons of influence, but I think most his influence is garbage and negative shyt

How am I moving goal post? I didn't bring up his influence, someone else did. I was just curious what his influence is. I don't know if bragging about being influential in getting hip hop to where it is today is a good thing

I mean, theirs been for example films that are as influential as fukk, but that influence was awful. Ie. Avatar and the use of 3d.

Yeah. It went gold. 6 years after release after they instituted the streaming rules.:manny: I was wrong.

shyt I bet I own more gucci albums than you do. So :manny:

I brought up influence because you said he wasn't on Jeezy's "level"
What exactly are you using to measure the "level" of an artist?

An artist like Gucci is somebody who's "level" in hip-hop can't be measured by his album sales.

I like to use tangible things that are real and can be proven.
