People so broke they can't buy 2 games at once :wow:
Even if they could, we all know what they gone be playing. You gotta compete with the base gta story players, the completionists, and the online players. Then with 2 main characters you got the people that wanna finish the game with both. That's at least 6 months worth of missed sales/playtime right there. shyt get colossal

Publishers dont want their games buried in the GTA news cycle. It defeats the purpose of marketing
In today's gaming news: The ever-controversial Rockstar Games has just announced the highly anticipated release of Grand Theft Auto VI. Industry insiders are scrambling to rearrange other franchise release dates, fearing a wipeout in sales and player engagement.

Although no one knows the exact reason for the timing of this release, sources suggest a number of less fortunate game studios have banded together in a thinly veiled attempt to undermine the legacy of not only GTA VI but also Rockstar Games itself.

The alleged ringleader of the backlash, Ubisoft, is reportedly furious at Rockstar's aggressive marketing campaign, which directly mocks the open-world efforts of Watch Dogs and the repetitive grind of Assassin’s Creed. Other developers like Electronic Farts—excuse me, Electronic Arts...known for their microtransaction-laden titles, and Call of Doody from Activision, are understandably rattled by the incoming storm.

The question on everyone's mind is ... why’d they provoke Rockstar?

While no official response has come from Rockstar directly, the studio released this statement:

> "It’s not about consoles or platforms. It’s about players and paywalls, innovation and stagnation, creators and copycats. Which side are you on? These studios still releasing cash grabs? Still pushing live-service bullshyt? Roaches, alright. Alright ... it’s the patch notes for your bugs."
:pachaha:

:hhh:

Thats all the market is flooded with is open world games. no thank you
Thing is, they are rarely done good enough. shyt be all dark and grey/black/brown and hazy n all that or too cartoonish, and then have subpar exploration with predictable placement, then have no game changing decision making, lack of customization/personalization, etc

I've put down so many games after getting passed reading the description and the first 30-60min that's sposed to lure you in just to find out that shyt is dead and boring
