I think they remaster it for ps5 so they can connect it to 6 graphic wise to make a miniature version of the us gta style as the end goal. Seems also plausible with their last announcement to basically only release things bit by bit, so we‘ll get vice city/liberty city etc

Yes...I just bought it again on PS4 recently as part of the 50% sale because I had the physical copy and wanted it digital so I can move my external between PS4s. 1 PS3, 2 PS4, Free PC and then 1 PS5

I hope its discounted for existing PS4 players.
