Like another poster said, I believe Rockstar is at their best when they make GTA games era based.
This game could have a weak story like V or be a classic like SA.
I believe it's going to be set in the 80s-90s
Like I said Vice/Miami is easy pickings. Not only that but Miami is more popular than ever only thing is the "Cartel era" has died down but trust me Miami is still about the drugs.

Not only that but instead of just Colombians and Cubans its now Mexicans and Haitians getting in on the action. Imagine drug smuggling back and forth between Miami and the Caribbean as a Mexican, Haitian, Colombian or Cuban immigrant.
And I remember Cuba in Godfather 2. Rockstar can EASILY do this.You don't even NEED the 90s breh. Modern times. Zoe Pound still big in Miami I heard or at least Haitian organized criminals. They also have a big hold in the Hip Hop scene down there. Imagine playing as a young up and coming Haitian immigrant drug trafficking and extorting rappers.

All gta has to do is pay attention to what these gta roleplay kids are doing.
That no pixel shyt is the truth man. These guys forming into real gangs and taking shyt over. Characters sentenced to life that run all the newbies pockets. Even saw some dark web shyt on there taping phone calls and snitching. Lawyers are in there and everything its ridiculous.
Watched one yesterday. One character stole the other characters phone ( a girl) and saw she was flirting with all the dudes on the server.
Too bad its a custom mod on a private server.

They should do Brazil, Columbia, or Mexico with their first female protagonist and have the plot like the old GTAs. The female is the daughter of one of the biggest fictional drug cartels, one of the rival cartels takes out the dad/majority of the cartel, daughter escapes and hides out with an old friend. Start from the bottom and build your way back to running your father's cartel.
R* duped everyone into believing their employees were overworked for RDR2......and it worked LOL
