There's also a John Marston book in V but it's all just references. Red Dead refers to San Andreas as California, mentions New York etc

They should end it with a bang. Biggest map with Vice City, Liberty City and San Andreas; return of all the first 3 main characters, in a virtual reality/world we have never seen before on PS5. Or something like this. GTA 6 has to be something special, the wait has been long.

The more I think about this the more I realize they need to make this historical. They are at their best when they decide on an iconic period with tons of crime that has influenced great or classic movies.

1920s bootlegging would be awesome but I think people expect a better variety or guns and vehicles than are appropriate for the time. It would be cool to see them bridge GTA and RDR one day and do this with John Marston's son. He could even go to work for the guy who kidnapped him when he was a kid.

I would appreciate if they made it the Eastern Seaboard from DC to Boston, with you doing particular missions in DC, BMore, Philly, Jersey, NY and finish in Boston with some big bank heist or something. Multiple storylines, locations, distinct features in all of the locations and allow them a lot of flexibility. I also wouldn't mind a Great Lakes edition that involved Chicago, Detroit, Cleveland, Buffalo, and Toronto in the 60's. That would be interesting as well.

looking at how RDR2 nailed the swamps, Vice City (Florida) is more than likely the setting for the next GTA. You include some caribbean islands and you got the map basically. Then you can go with cartel/drug trafficking in modern times or go back to some 1950's Miami/Cuba fukkery like Godfather 2.
