GT7….Always online…Broken…..Nasty Microtransactions

I'm really disappointed with Sony and Polyphony Digital on this one.
This is the first Gran Turismo I've bought at launch since Gran Turismo 3: A-Spec and I feel a bit ripped off to be honest. I had no idea about the always online condition when I preordered it, maybe that's my own fault for not researching it but gimping the credits awarded to push microtransactions is really unacceptable. Hopefully the backlash causes them to improve the credits awarded.

Game is back up, but there’s really no reason to block single player if servers are down.
Sony kinda quick with shutting down servers too, so this game will probably just not exist at some point in the future

Passed on GT7 because of the always online for single player bullshyt. Shame what they've become.

ya this snafu got a lot of folks upset…the actual driving is great tho
that settled down tho and the user reviews was literally just at 6.3 yesterday morning…since the game became unplayable tho they have bombed this shyt to hell (2.9 now)…the russian shyt was corny but I can’t blame folks one bit for being upset at this huge step backwards…I’m a little annoyed cuz I was in the process of rearranging my gaming room to play this more often/conveniently…even ordered a new monitor…at least this happened before I fully committed to switching shyt around…these first world problems never fukking cease

I use to have a blast with NFS:U2 on ps2, no online needed.

Nothing for games that are actually online multiplayer games.
In this case single player content is locked out too if a connection is lost.
