but he aint say shyt about how the NCAA "rapes" the students they make billions off of :camby:

exactly. And don't give me that bullshyt about 'free education" when you got that bullshyt like the UNC Afro American studies scandal. All these schools just wanna keep these nikkaz eligible to keep that sports dough rollin in. They don't give a fukk about education.

so tired of this fake outrage, I can't even imagine how bad it would've gotten had we lost to Wichita State who does things the "right" way and recruits 4 year players :mjlol:

But on the real, did the NBA not draft on potential back in the day, I mean, Timmy stayed what, 3 or 4 years in college?

...and in the same breath he talks about how great the system baseball is which allows for a clear path for young athletes to forego college education all together, and be 'professional' single A baseball players which will never make it to the majors. Yeah, that whole system of skipping college all together, and using your High School diploma to split your time between bagging groceries at Piggy Wiggly, and in the dugout of the birmingham barons or the grand rapids white caps sure is better than going to college for a couple years and then the nba :beli:

bob knight has been one of the more vocal critics of corruption and exploitation in college basketball. the president who fired him from IU is now the director of the NCAA, and knight didn't do himself any favors by publicly and casually referencing how fukked up the system was.

i dont agree with his statement here about the NBA, but let's not lump him in with the pro-establishment camp
