Brehs my age know "cap" used to mean roasting somebody. Niccas would be in the cafeteria having capping contests.

We used to call 'em roasts (like celebrities) & stingin' sessions, but we got it from our elders that called it 'The Dozens'. The mid-90's kids around my way started calling it 'cappin'.​

Alot of these slangs are recycled, but at some point you just have to give it up. They don't serve any purpose other than making speaker sound cool, "in" or down and as a grown man this shod be beyond you.

At one time slang talk was VERY heavy. It's actually alot less slang going round now. If I wanted I could go back to like 94 and have lil nikkas like .
