Ehh... I guess. I don't think it changes much in the grand scheme of things and could cause some upheaval.

Regarding the bolded - I think the roster is fine, the big issue is Ja can't stay healthy. I read he hasn't played 10 games in a row in 3 years. Makes sense, he can't really shoot threes so he relies on finishing in the paint in traffic, takes a lot of abuse on his body.

Changing coaches this late could hurt them, too, due to chemistry and the players adjusting to the new coach.

They're tied for 4th with the Lakers, but who's to say they won't fall down to the 6th or 7th/8th seed by the final game of the season? It's not a given that Memphis will secure a first-round matchup.
