I always believed the West African Empires, namely the Moors, and the Malians (the richest empire at the time) ventured over to South and Central America. I believe the Moors took that knowledge with them to Spain & Portugal, the main European countries they controlled and they shared it with Whites. I find it interesting that....by coincidence....the same year the Moors get defeated, Columbus sets sail from "Iberia":pachaha: There are wind currents that will carry you straight to South America from Africa :dead: People have made this journey on wooden rafts recently :dead: I obviously haven't researched this heavily though

Ivan Van Sertima wrote about this extensively. he also wrote about the oral traditions in Mali that talk about the fact there were trips made by people from Mali to the West towards foreign lands. Mansa Musa's older brother is said to have led the largest of these expeditions. he took thousands of men and women with him in hundreds of boats. Mansa Musa made his legendary trek to Mecca as a way to try and up his older brother.

They Came Before Columbus by Ivan van Sertima is REQUIRED READING imo for every black person in america and beyond. The book is a treasure of information that white people have tried to destroy.

In any criminal case there is a search for motive. I gave you guys the motive: Black people (who aren't decimated like indians) being indeginous to this land opens the door for all types land grab.

Even some native Americans admit black people have always been here.

I used to hear from guys working construction, about them digging and coming upon evidence and remains of black civilizations. How when this happens the BOI hurries and shuts everything down.

Pay attention to how they're slowly presenting theories and soon to be proof that white people were here before the native Americans :sas1:

It is a great book, but you should always research further upon whats written and develop your own understanding. Some cats question only the things they dont like.

We don't descend from san bushmen.

:why: who said anything about descent. we were debating whether or not the negritos are black. if you consider the bushmen black eventhough they got slanted eyes like asians, i don't know how you can say the black natives in southeast asia ain't black.

its not about what i like or don't like. its about what makes sense. the idea that all black people outside of africa are descended from slaves simply made no sense to me. plus i don't believe anything white people have to say about history. these are the same people who still deny egypt being black. jesus being black. and the moors being black.

why should we believe what cacs have to say now about the history of black folks in america?

All black people outside of Africa are descended from Africans, not slaves

No, many were claiming we (AAs, Carribeans) descend from the SE Asians who migrated to Mesoamerica and created Olmec culture.

I'm sure that is true for SOME. how many? who knows. all I'm sure about is there were 3 different groups of black peoples that came to the americas.

(1) an ancient black population that crossed the pacific 10,000+ years ago and settled in the Americas BEFORE the red indians/"native americans". this group would have come from the same ancestral stock as the aborgines, papua new guineans, andamenese, etc.

(2) a recent black population from west africa that arrived in the americas sometime in the last 2000 years by crossing the atlantic ocean. Mansa Musa's older brother and his expedition being the most promiment among these groups.

(3) africans that arrived as part of the trans-atlantic slave trade of the last 300 years.

now if the question is how many modern day "african-americans" descended from each of these groups, I don't know. Groups 1 and 2 could make up the majority of the modern african-american population or they could not. we really don't have enough evidence right now to say one way or the other. if I had to guess I would say most black people in the americas are descended from groups 1 and 2. with a small number being descended from the trans-atlantic slave trade.

Phenotypes and DNA tell us no AAs come from group 1. We are much taller than Melanesians and none of us have blue eyes, blonde hair, straight hair without mixing or haplogroup x.

Group 2 is purely speculative and its funny people buy this but think the volume of slave trading in the trans-atlantic slave trade is impossible, even given way more evidence for the later.

the vast number of written accounts of black natives in the americas by white europeans says this isn't speculative. the FACT columbus had moorish guides telling him where to sail says it isn't speculative. the fact we have oral traditions in Mali of vast numbers of ships making expeditions west says this isn't speculative. the plants Ivan Van Sertima found in south america that could only have come from west africa says this isn't speculartive.

if there was only one line evidence. for example, if all we had were the west african plants being found in south america. or just the oral traditions from mali. or just the fact Columbus had a moorish guide. or just one european writer talking about finding black natives in the americas. then maybe you'd have a point about this being speculative. however, once you put all the evidence together, it becomes pretty overwhelming. you can try to explain away one of these pieces of evidence if it was by itself but you can't explain all of them away.

only an idiot brainwashed by white supremacy would believe its speculative to think africans sailed across the atlantic to america before columbus given the evidence.

This is way more speculative than millions of West Africans coming via the trans-atlantic slave trade.

Do we have any nutritionist on board? I need someone to address the condition slaves would have been in upon arrival.

After a 4-5 month voyage...man they would have been in bad shape! Even those who survived would not have been worth much right? They would need to be nursed back to health right?

400 people on a ship...have any of you took a cruise? I do it often and with the technology and employees cleaning, after 7 days that ship is :usure:. Yall trying to tell me a wooden ship with people shytting, pissing, and bleeding all over the lower level wouldn't kill everyone on there? Crew included.

Chained to the floor for months...you would go crazy!!!! Cholera, typhoid, ebola, etc. Food poisoning kicking our ass in the 21st century on cruises. I know all them nikkas got sea sick, throwing up!

The more you actually think about:stopitslime::lolbron: gtfoh!!!! How long did it take them brothers to be fit for duty after arriving? My mother in law been in the hospital for two weeks and her muscles and weight are atrophied. And they shipped how many slaves over here? Them cacs must have had space ships....:ohhh:
