I know it's probably out of the question in our current climate but check online marketplaces like letgo, craigslist, Facebook marketplace to get used (or sometimes new) grills etc. Last year I got a 16" Weber Smokey Mountain for $65. All it needed was new grates which I just ordered from Webers site and Amazon.
Is it a 14 or 18?
They don't make 16. Either way. A Weber will literally last forever. Barring weather. But you can either get a cover or put it away.
My pops was a Weber Smokey mountain from like 1990. Had a few dents from a bad hail storm.
The thermometer on my Weber cracked from hail, but I can get a replacement. Other than that it's good.
$65 for a wsm is good anyway you slice it.
