Foreign students have been protesting in America for decades.

I do not understand protesting immigrants who left their country to come to America to protest for the country the fled.
You should have stayed in your country and fought and protested over there.

That argument is nonsense. First off, fleeing a country due to war or persecution doesn't mean people stop caring about it.

Second, the US directly funds and enables what's happening in Gaza. Protesting here is just as much about Palestine as it's about holding the US accountable for its role. Telling people to "go protest over there" ignores the fact that the US is part of the problem.

Lastly, the 1st Amendment applies to EVERYONE in the US, including immigrants. If you don't understand why people protest, that's *your* problem.
