one of my best friends…her entire immediate family lives in the Palisades (parents and multiple siblings who decided to return and raise their families there)

All of their homes are gone. Just like that
Sorry to hear that. That’s terrible. One of my biggest fears after we had those floods. To think everything, it’s just gone like that.

Yea their homes are all within 5 to 10 mins of walking.

Idea being for the parents to be close to their grandkids.

It’s devastating to lose a home but at least it can eventually be rebuilt. What’s really getting to her are all the mementos / childhood pictures that can’t be replaced.

Brehs what's the black areas in L.A. looking like right now? I'm not too well versed in the specific locations listed. Are these areas with Black people being impacted???
