People working at low wage jobs aren't deciding to work less in order to go start up their own tech companies on the side. They are deciding to work less hours because the less you work the more government subsides you get. That is called a perverse incentive.

The law doesn't create a disincentive to work - it removes one incentive to work. People no longer have to rely on employer healthcare insurance, they can take jobs that don't offer healthcare, etc. This forum is full of IT gurus right? A good deal of IT people work for small businesses that don't offer healthcare. This law gives them a healthcare option.
