The Republicans just got a big gift from the Congressional Budget Office: It’s going to be a lot easier for them to call Obamacare a “job killer.”

That’s because the budget office’s new economic report says the health care law will cause Americans to work fewer hours – enough to be the equivalent of 2 million fewer jobs in 2017.
The latest number is nearly three times as high as the budget office’s previous prediction, and it’s supposed to rise in later years to the equivalent of 2.5 million jobs in 2024.

Giving people more financial freedom/stability is a bad thing now? I thought yall were all about empowering workers.

I know people who have decided to start a business due to Obamacare - they no longer have to worry about losing employer coverage. I know people who had two jobs, but quit one last month because they now have insurance and don't have to worry as much. This law is going to have a very clear stimulative impact on the economy simply due to people having more money to spend.

Also it'll get some of them 60-64yo folks to retire and open up space for young workers.
