Big Pun but he was dead when the footage came out.
The federal government doesn't need to play those games. If they have the evidence they need they'll just charge him.
He got raided by Homand security. They want something big like sex trafficking not domestic abuse. Not to mention that she may have agreed to not seek any criminal charges as part of her settlement so the feds would have even less reason to care about this.

Why wasn't the video destroyed and deleted from hard drives and backups? If Cassie had someone hold onto it in case she came up missing etc...fair enough.

I'd imagine he'll release a statement before Monday but yea...I don't see any come back from this. And way too many people know other shyt he did to Cassie too, this is not an isolated incident.

Yup. If they found ANY evidence of trafficking or anything illegal related to that his ass would be locked up or atleast held so he can't flee.
The way it could be charged in an indictment, would be conspiracy to obstruct justice, maybe something like wire fraud, bribery? depending on how he paid out the money, did he use his company to create an invoice? Did he wire money or write a check under a different circumstance than buying an incriminating video
like in the furtherance of the conspiracy, defendant did knowingly and willingly conspire to prevent the video from leaking or falling into the hands of the LAPD, because the video would damage the reputation and therefore income and thus the viability of the defendants ability to continue the conspiracy of sex trafficking
but yeah, the AUSA's don't need it to prove sex trafficking.
The Southern District will unseal an indictment within 90 days is my prediction. They don't need him detained, until an indictment is unsealed. They don't need any of that. He can't flee anywhere. That itself is a fallacy. He will only make things worse if he flees.
