You never played at a level like the NBA

I don’t have to tell you anything because I don’t agree with Grant. But I’m 1000% confident he’s not the only person in the Celtic locker room that feels they were the better team and I’m sure the Celtics aren’t the only team who has players that think they lost to a team they’re better than

Like I said in the first post…it is what it is
I played semi pro ball bro don’t try to deminish what level it is.. Real ballers know a lose is a lose period

It ain’t about excuses.

Again, this is athlete talk. Grant damn sure ain’t the first and damn sure not the last to think his team was better even though they lost a 7-game series. That’s the whole point.

you're right

but grant definitely set himself up for the get back tho, until next szn start the champs got the leverage in the trash talk olympics lol

I mean Steph gets all of the credit for it but really that’s a weak thing. Steph has benefitted just as much from the Warriors system and his teammates as they’ve benefitted from him. Not to mention having a core that’s played together their whole careers with a coach that’s been there for the last seven or eight years is huge when the majority of players seem to switch teams every two years.
In stephs most dominate game in the finals the offensive system was complete dismantled with steph opting to iso the entire team all night. They Celtics literally had to live with the system working as intended or steph going off and neither were worth it . Without steph their is no system and he proved he didn’t need it

I could see if the championship was decided in a one-off game like the Superbowl. But in basketball, this stance doesn't work in a 7 game series, unless something like injuries/suspensions happen
