Without Steph, the dubbs aren’t even a thing…there’s no system to benefit from and there’s no core nor coach worth keeping around

That may be a half step or so hyperbole, but IMO this ain’t some kinda unanswerable chicken and egg quandary…steph is the answer
Not even hyperbole, they look like shyt when he doesn't play and the plus/minus numbers when he's on the court vs the bench speak truth to it

You get the healthy and Milwaukee still better, just like the Lakers would have been better with a healthy Ariza or Bynum back in the day :umad:

14 years of delusion is not healthy. I’d recommend seeing a specialist :francis:

Bro stop it :mjlol:

Y’all either don’t know how athletes think or do and just wanna pretend to be outraged

I’ve played organized ball.. an L is an L no matter how you slice it.. you cannot believe your better than someone and lose to them multiple times

Now tell me how you are better when you win game 3 then proceeded to lose the next 3 games in a row?

Semantics maybe…these dynasty warriors have always been more than the sum of their parts..so maybe he means that he believes the Celtic were better as a collection of individual players, which I probably (maybe?) agree with (honestly haven’t given it much thought)…I just know that the dubbs weren’t some overwhelmingly talented squad…you had Steph, who’s a generational talent, surrounded by a bunch of role players (Wiggins was a fringe allstar player this year, and wouldn’t have sniffed a selection had he played on the vast majority of other teams in the league…Dray and Klay aren’t who they once were)…but those individual pieces fit together in a way that makes the overall team performance championship worthy…I’ve chalked that up for years to the nature of Steph’s game and how his offball impact is more productive than other star players in today’s game that follow the heliocentric model
Such a shame he didn't win FMVP in 15, Steph has been the engine of that squad. At least he finally got his due this year.

You never played at a level like the NBA

I don’t have to tell you anything because I don’t agree with Grant. But I’m 1000% confident he’s not the only person in the Celtic locker room that feels they were the better team and I’m sure the Celtics aren’t the only team who has players that think they lost to a team they’re better than

Like I said in the first post…it is what it is
