I thought the invasion shyt they did was pretty good. Maybe mistimed. They shoulda done the Yano belt stealing gimmick and got the Tongans the fukk backstage before doin it. But after Enzo's Survivor Series debacle...then the Bret Hart HOF thing...it was honestly the perfect time night to do it. Obviously you should tell the boys...at least a right beforehand. And it dragged on a lil long...and not having some sort of security break it up was not realistic. I know WWE does that shyt to death...but it's the Garden for fukks sake. There's gotta be security. Overall it got people talkin and made a bit of noise in the viral world. Had most people thinkin' "maybe" even if it was only for a lil second. They should just roll wit it and keep the angle movin. ROH been wack as fukk for a over a year. MLW is more poppin...If it wasn't for NJPW co-branded shows I'd honestly watch more WWN than them. What do they got to lose.

Nobody wants to work with them. Tama Tonga looked disgusted in the ring. So they won’t sell tickets, and the fellow wrestlers don’t wanna work with them. Who’s left?

Any wrestler who doesn’t want to work with them is a silly mark for themselves and the business :mjlol:

:camby: at the idea that Enzo and Cass (or nZo and CazXL :dead:) are not worth working with in a business where two men come out of the same locker room, most of the time wearing underwear, and choreograph a fight against each other.

I love wrestling as much as the next man and outside of Japan, I can’t think of a single time Tama Tonga got any mainstream press. If I’m running a company or booking a show (assuming both guys are actual wrestlers... no David Arquette :whoa:). I’m going with the guy who has been on TMZ, who has the name recognition to get us on bleacher report and SI, over the super serious Japanese wrestler :manny:

Sounds like they need to be begging to get back in WWE then. Those are WWE rules you’re talking about. They fukked that chance up.

Wrestlers can be divas, bro. People love to think it's because of wrestling ability:mjlol:. Those dudes been wrestling a long time and have wrestled bigger trash than Enzo and Cass. It's about politics. Maybe because Enzo and Cass didn't grovel before them and pay respect to them as locker room vets or because they see them as potential threats but let's get worked into thinking it's about wrestling pride and not the usual pettiness.

Lmao
Then nobody is going to watch them.

The only thing that was proven by that roh show is this

A) NOONE in that building was from NYC at ALL..prolly all euro weekend transplants..
B) ROH is obvioualy busch league and dont know money when its on the table.

So these guys just made a call off a buncha money MARKS who came to the big show. This most casual discussion roh has gotten in 5 years.Any tag team from this glorified indy should thank god for letting them face enzo and cass as thats prolly most press theyll ever get in their life. If Any wrestler really think this than theyre trash.

My response was only to the idea that Tonga didn’t want to work with them and then what I would do as a booker. Whether ROH wants to run their business how I would is up to them, but if it were my company, I’m booking the two guys who have been on a Tidal podcast in the past few weeks over the super serious “professional” wrestler

If there was money in them, WWE would have rehired them already. Without WWE television, they ain’t shyt. That’s why Enzo rap & comedy careers already went belly up. That’s why what Cody did was an outlier. When WWE releases someone their commercial viability generally dies within a year after last appearing on WWE television. Ryback, Jack Swagger, etc. There’s nothing wrong with a wrestling promotion pushing the boundaries a bit to generate casual discussion but if that discussion is largely centered around shytting on you, what does it do?

You’re saying fukk the fanbase that’s been spending money on you? I say when you’re #2/3 promotion, you have to super serve the fans you got. Try to be WWE, you’ll always lose.

Now now wait a minute Author,:whoa:

Wait just one moment.... I think you went a little too far with you Tama Tonga shot. He definitely gets his fair share press, especially for someone that’s not even in the US. Mainsyor not.

No one saying it’s top 6 guys WWE level (which no one but the chosen few get), but it’s more than the average mid carder to low carder.

2018 was his year:whoa:

Also as far as Enzo & Cass is concerned..... when you leave the E, to be successful, your shyt inside the ring gotta be just as good as your promos if not better.:ld:

And this ain’t it for them, they ain’t “must work with” level talent quite yet.

They pretty good walking down to the ring doing the schtick. However, as Bruce Pritchard likes to say “... and then the bell rings”

I’m not saying “Fukk the fan base” at all. But every promotion has heels. Every promotion has guys that fans hate. And the GREAT thing about Enzo and Cass is that the fans hate them, hate their style, and would pay to watch storylines where they get their ass kicked by their fan darlings... OR they’d boo the shyt out of them when they beat the fan favorites; all of which you need in wrestling, especially if you want your promotion to grow. Otherwise, ROH will be the same fan favorites flipping around or grappling for 40 minutes in front of the same people chanting “you deserve it” during every match. Adding Enzo and Cass doesn’t mean your promotion is trying to “be WWE” it means you’ve added two dudes to your roster that people recognize. How you book it from there is on you :manny:

And it doesnt hurt that they have the WWE stink on them so that more people watch your promotion.

To be 100% honest, I as a casual fan outside of WWE could not tell you the last time I watched ROH. But if I saw a thread on here with Enzo and Cass in an ROH match, I’d watch it to see how they did. That’s how your broaden your fan base :yeshrug:

I couldn’t tell you the last time you and I (or rather me and anyone) discussed anything ROH, but here we are. And it’s not because of their style. It’s because they did something different (for them) with two guys that have name recognition to AND outside of their hardcore audience.

Preach. The new LAX are fukking amazing, Fallah Bahh is babyface status, they have Killer Kross lurking the main event scene.

Kiera Hogan getting into the Rosemary and Allie plot, Moose fukking with The Rascalz, Penta and Fenix cutting promos like modern day digital gods :whoo:

Last night's episode was solid as fukk. I watch on twitch, Melissa Santos talks it up on commercial breaks, her and Callis chatted after the episode...

yeah TNA has a dope roster, Rich swann been putting in work since getting there
