everything u said was facts u til the last part. Twisted Dark Fantasy was his last classic and maybe his best work. Love Grad tho

I think MBDTF is a really good album and one of the best of the 2010s. "Gorgeous" and "So Appalled" are among my favorite Kanye songs. But the guy who made that album isn't the same guy who made Late Registration or Graduation. He had been through a lot between 2007 and 2010. I mean, it makes sense because there's no way MBDTF even happens without those experiences. But OG Kanye (his first three albums) came from a different place creatively. MBDTF was the father of everything he ended up making later on.

its funny he dont even rank MBDTF that highly he likes Yeezus, 808s and TLOP more because they experiment more. he said MBDTF was an apology album and he made it "perfect" simply to win the public's opinion of him back

It stayed in my car's cd player for over 3 years. I was there when he brought out Lupe and Rhianna.

I have Graduation as his best album also...:wow:

This was the first Kanye album I ever purchased. I know some fans look at as one of his weakest albums lyrically but with the way the songs were structured for stadium/big venues there was no need to be super lyrical. The songs were meant to be sung along too.

Sonically, it's a stadium rock album with synths, orchestras and rapping.:yeshrug:

The production was so diverse, colorful and the mixing was immaculate. Ye didn't go overboard with his ideas and stretch them thin like on MBDTF which is great also but I prefer a more compact Kanye.
