I made a real thread discussing how the media manipulated racial propaganda has our brehs and brehetts focusing more on whites (what whites are doing, studying, thinking, stealing, eating, reading, listening to etc etc) instead of spending money with each other

i like thugger, and i certainly think hes one of the most interesting and polarizing, and fun to follow rappers out right now. when hes in his pocket, he can hit some fantastic flows.
but rapping is more than just flows.
therefore, young thug is not the best rapper alive currently.
Rapping is more than just lyrics.
The spirit of pac. The spirit of public enemy. The middle finger to society.
That shyt been missing in rap. To me thats part of what makes him the best rapper alive.
Also thug is super creative.
But for those that require their rappers to say more big words, in a structured format to get they point across I understand.

youre right, and thugger got 1 of the 3 of those you listed, plus flows, but no bars, and no real classic albums yet, just some turn up anthems
hes got some of the pieces but not all to be really considered best rapper alive
hes still dope. but lets not go too far with it. the internet hype around everything makes it far too easy these days to want to call things 'the best alive/ever'

he's the best rapper because he's better than other rappers, it's just that simple. all of the counterarguments are about thug not having bars and that's just a silly argument in my opinion because Kendrick is technically a "better" rapper but I have zero desire or interest in anything he says, it doesn't move me and it's flat out boring like watching a gifted mathematician do arbitrary math on a white board that looks complex to the layman but also looks uninteresting to a person who doesn't really care for math.
Thugger on the other hand is art, he's rebellious, he's honest, he doesn't try to be anything that he's not and he's pours himself into every song and I can listen to his songs over and over and find more and more beauty that I overlooked on the previous listen.
Man I feel you and I wouldn't be shocked if Thug came out of no where with an "A milli" type record to steak his claim for the doubters
