I find it hilarious that people are outraged about a lawsuit that has nothing to do with either party and is just the US having to pay settlement over a court case they would obviously lose if it went to trial. I fail to understand the anger about this especially since we have rulings like this all the time here. This is no different than police departments having to settle up when their Goosestepping Nazis brutalize black people for no reason and get dragged to court over it. You can't just violate people's human rights doesn't matter if they're citizens or not
